ABOUT US
Overview

Unique to the Island, both Directors are accredited Senior Investigating Officers which allowed them to lead all forms of  serious and complex crime investigations.  These qualifications are now regularly called upon to assist Defence teams in examining procedures, evidence, Human Rights issues and actions of the law enforcement investigators.

Confidentiality and discretion are guaranteed. As a member of the Association of British Investigators (ABI), Expol is bound by a code of conduct which ensures integrity at all times.

At Expol we are always prepared to offer advice on the practicality of engaging a particular enquiry, investigation or private investigator. An initial consultation is free and implies no commitment to proceed.

About the Isle of Man
The Isle of Man is an internally self-governing dependency of the British Crown and its people are British citizens. The Crown has ultimate responsibility for the administration of the Island and acts on the advice of Ministers of the United Kingdom Government in their capacity as Privy Councillors.
The Isle of Man is not part of the United Kingdom but is a territory for whose international relations the United Kingdom is responsible in international law. The United Kingdom is responsible for the defence of the Isle of Man and for providing consular services. The Island makes an annual contribution to the United Kingdom in recognition of defence and other common services provided on its behalf.
Although English law does not extend to the Isle of Man, the Manx legal system is based on the principles of English common law, like the legal systems of most Commonwealth countries. Manx criminal law was codified in the 19th century and is closely based on English law. In relation to contract, tort, family law and social security, Manx law is very similar to English law. But in other respects Manx law has been developed to meet the Island's special circumstances, particularly with regard to direct taxation, company law and financial supervision.
