NEWS -Case was subsequently withdrawn by prosecutors

A review of prosecution evidence in a case of a man charged with Wasting Police Time resulted in one of our former SIOs preparing a defence report which focused on evidential failings and other examples of poor practice within the investigation procedures. The case was subsequently withdrawn by prosecutors.
